Youth Intervention Program
The key to prevention is action! Preventing gang involvement or other destructive life choices is possible when parents, schools, and the community come together and get involved.
The Hollister Youth Alliance Youth Intervention Program provides identified families and youth with supportive counseling, educational workshops, and advocacy to access needed resources and social services. The expertise provided by trained social workers and outreach workers give youth and families an opportunity to prevent entrance into the juvenile justice system or to intervene so that a new direction is possible.
If you are in need of assistance, please contact John Delgado, ACSW at (831) 636-2853. There are no fees for services.
Motivated and Determined
This 10 week workshop series educates youth in social and personal development and assists them in developing the skills needed to make positive life choices. Sessions include topics on: developing a cultural identity—exposing the myth, resolving conflicts peacefully, communication, and goal setting.
